The Vector has enjoyed a great start in 2012 as well. For 2013, we worked on the low end, re-launch, and turning speed of the 11/12/14m sizes. The results are phenomenal and now the feeling and performance of the small size Vectors are carried throughout the entire range. The Vector handles everything from pumping onshore surf and new school freestyle to cruising down winders and first time instruction. The chameleon of the range, the Vector is good at everything, and now for 2013 even better! Since this is a price-sensitive model, the Vector does not come with a pump and is equipped with a simple drawstring bag with shoulder strap.

The 2013 Cabrinha Vector is a performance 3-strut kite in a simple minimalist package. With the Vector, there is nothing getting between you and an amazing kitesurfing experience. The hybrid design is perfect for universal riding. That means it’s perfect for surf, freestyle, or wakestyle. The 2013 Vector has a robust construction, using all of the same materials and components as in our much higher end kites. We’ve stripped down the non-essentials, giving you the option to upgrade as you feel necessary.

Cabrinha’s 2013 Quick Link Control System with IDS

Cabrinha kites have improved the most ergonomic and feature-rich bar in the kiteboarding world. The Quicklink IDS system is the first kiteboarding bar on the market to internalize all of the lines, releases and swivels so the rider has no lose lines or balls floating around the bar. Quicklink incorporates 14 unique functions that are integrated throughout the complete control system. Cabrinha’s Quicklink is the safest bar system on the market with their 3 stage depower system. First is on-demand depower by pushing away the bar, or for more, letting go of the bar. Second is the Quick Release – pop the quick release and your IDS line will remove all of the kite’s power. If a final break away is needed, the secondary Quick Release will allow the kite complete release from the rider.
