WHAT TO WEAR AND WHAT TO BRING:

Stand Up Paddleboarding is an active aerobic water activity, and generally very little (if any) time is spent in the water. We recommend layering over your bathing suit. Wear clothing that can get wet, but that also gives you some thermal protection> e.g. quick-dry shorts and tops, light fleece vests or tops, no cotton.

TOP: One or two long sleeve shirts of "polar fleece", or other polyester fabric; wool is ok. No cotton.

UNDER YOUR TOP or UNDER YOUR OPTIONAL WETSUIT: A swimsuit to wear under your top or wetsuit just in case you fall in (wetsuits are optional, and typically not necessary for our tours). If you are unsure about your balance and want to wear a wetsuit just in case you fall in, you can purchase one from us if you do not already own one. Visit our online store here

PANTS: Fleece or polyester/nylon pants to wear instead of wetsuit; polyester surf shorts are ok on warmer days (60 degrees+)

BOOTIES: In winter months (Dec-March), we recommend thermal booties. If you do not own them, you can buy them from us in advance at our shop or online store here. In Spring, Summer, and Fall, temps are warm enough where you don't need booties. Bare feet are fine!

HAT: Baseball cap if desired. Warm wool hat during winter months.

SUNGLASSES: Sunglasses and croakies. We have croakies available for purchase on site at our tours.

OTHER STUFF: a towel, snacks/food, and bottled water. Consider bringing a tip for your guide if you have a great tour experience :-)
