Windsurfing

Windsurfing is an incredibly dynamic, easy to learn sport.  You can cruise like a sailboat, fly like the wind, hit the waves, race or do freestyle tricks.  Our classes are designed to give you the fundamentals you need to be a confident, independent rider.   Our lesson/rental gear is some modern and light weight.   We, at Boardsports, also enjoys exclusive teaching rights at 2 of the best beach locations in the Bay Area - Crown Beach, Alameda and Coyote Point Park, San Mateo.  We have side on shore winds, long sandy beaches, and shallow warm water. Learn at these two ideal beginner and intermediate locations where you will come back to practice on your own. We also offer a full retail shop and can outfit you with all of the gear including board, sail, mast, boom, harness and wetsuit.

We have many instructors working with us and are always hiring new ones! Our instructors are certified by the US Sailing Windsurfing Instructor Program.

We offer the finest windsurfing retail and rental gear at our retail shop including Naish, North, Hot Sails Maui, Starboard, Quatro, RRD, Fanatic, JP, Maui Sails, Severne, Chinook, Streamlined, Dakine, Ion, Prolimit, etc.
